Welcome to Shirleys Field Community Farm

We’re excited to announce the launch of Shirleys Field Community Farm! After careful planning and preparation, we’re opening our doors to the community.
Our 6-acre site in Layer Breton, near Tiptree, is ready to welcome volunteers, participants, and visitors. We’re currently establishing our therapeutic horticulture programs, settling in our therapy animals, and preparing the gardens for spring planting.
Now Accepting Volunteers
We’re actively seeking volunteers to join our community. Whether you have experience in gardening, animal care, or simply want to be part of something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.
Volunteer roles include gardening and horticulture, animal care, supporting others, event assistance, and more. Contact us to arrange a visit and learn more.
Referrals Now Open
We are now accepting referrals from social services, NHS, probation services, and other support organizations. If you work with individuals who could benefit from our therapeutic programs, please get in touch to discuss how we can help.
